US interrogation guidelines from Guantanamo list Pakistanís spy agency as terror organization
By Associated Press, Monday, April 25, 8:23 AM

ISLAMABAD ó Secret documents show that American authorities listed Pakistanís main intelligence agency as a terrorist organization in guidelines handed out to interrogators at Guantanamo Bay.

In files leaked the international media, the Inter-Services Intelligence agency is named alongside international Islamist militant networks like Hamas and Hezbollah as well as Iranís spy agency.

The guidelines advise interrogators that detainees associated with these groups may have provided support to Taliban and al-Qaida or insurgents fighting in Afghanistan.

The revelations will likely further strain ties between the CIA and the ISI, which by many accounts are at their lowest point since they began working together in 2001.

1. That is rich! I suspect there are many countries that could label our
CIA as terrorist and probably some other secret agencies of our government. I am sorry I would believe it.

3. About time. The ISI has always been a terrorist organization
supporting terror far and wide, from Kosovo, Chechnya, Dagestan to Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Xin Jiang, Kashmir and as far away as Mindanao in the Philippines.

ISI is also the main force behind the Taliban and Al Q'aeda and such widely known crimes as Daniel Pearl's murder and hijacking of an Indian Airlines' plane.

4. Yes. It is a terrorist organization. It is kind of reassuring to know that
behind our far too great generosity to the terrorists in that organization, our government recognizes what they are.
