Marijuana ruling lights path to legalization

An Ontario court ruling that could legalize the possession of marijuana in the province will be reviewed by the federal government, officials say.

"The government of Canada is reviewing the decision and will consider its options," Leslie Meerburg, spokeswoman for Health Canada, said Wednesday in an email.

Justice Donald Taliano gave Ottawa until July to fix the federal medical marijuana program or face the prospect of effectively legalizing possession and production of cannabis.

3. I would be more
afraid of a cold war, or a silent unacknowledged war initiated by law enforcement.
Watch for the international incident where the DEA tries to overreach into Canadian territory.

But didn't you guys stop Monsanto at the border a decade or more ago trying

to push that bovine milk hormone to Canada -- ?? Payoff attempts?

Late -- and who could keep track of all this corruption, anyway!!!

5. this already happend, pot was legal in ontario
based on a similar ruling, look up marc emery and the summer of legalization. I hope ottawa does nothing and pot becomes legal. if that happens i will go there on vacation in august instead of going to california. ps quebec gold is better than bc buds
