Exclusive - Speaker Boehner on Budget Negotiations: 'No Daylight Between Tea Party and Me'
Source: abc

Speaker of the House John Boehner said he is in lockstep with the Tea Party on budget negotiations despite claims from Democrats that there could be a deal if only he could buck the Tea Party.

Listen, theres no daylight between the Tea Party and me, Boehner told me today during our exclusive interview.

None? I asked

None. What they want is they want us to cut spending. They want us to deal with this crushing debt thats going to crush the future for our kids and grandkids. Theres no daylight there, he said.

3. Because Frank Luntz hadn't yet handcrafted that beautiful heartwrenching phrase.
(Not sure whether Luntz is responsible for this particular gem, but pretty sure some strategist crafted this phrase, since they all keep parroting it)

4. Let's see, bush increased the "crushing debt" by 100%
and you were silent. Obama increased it by 30% and you're hysterical. And your pissing match over $30 billion won't balance any budget. You, Mr. Boner are in deep doo doo with the teabaggers and you know it. So, dance like Michael Jackson.

6. Mr. Speaker
I submit that you're a liar. A brown-nosed liar who risks facial fractures if the tea party stops abruptly. SO shallow - SO transparent - SO whored out.

Your two years as Speaker will not be remembered well, if at all, in the history books.

And the cesspool that you bow to?

18. "...deal with this crushing debt..."
....c'mon boner, there is no 'crushing debt' only a Republican created crisis designed for election 2012....

....this is all quite simple, boner....first, stop giving away money we don't have to the rich and corporations then make the rich and corporations pay their fair share of taxes, preferably Eisenhower era taxes (did you know he was a Republican?)

....second, pass a law that makes it illegal not to provide discounted food prices to Seniors on Social Security each year that you chump us on our COLA....(it may not help with the expenditures, but I'll eat better and be happier)

....third, pass a law that makes it illegal for the private sector not to provide Medicare services, and not to provide those services at established government rates....

....Revenue problem solved, Social Security problem solved, Medicare problem solved....easy, but if the above shouldn't work, return here and we'll help you with even more creative suggestions....

"...theres no daylight between the Tea Party and me..."

....that's because, TP and you are both in the dark, you both have your heads in you ass....

23. No daylight on any planet I've been on will turn a person orange either...
The Teabaggers are a bunch of irritable old men howling at them kids to get off their lawn and their obedient wives with no thoughts other than keeping their man happy. Granted, there are a select few that are prematurely old. These whiney people don't give a damn about anything other than themselves, possibly explaining why they are willing to shout asinine nonsense in public. The media plays them up because it suits their corporate agenda.

Viewpoints should be graded on content, not volume.
