TUNIS, March 19 (Reuters) - Libyan state television reported on Saturday the "crusader enemy", a reference to Western forces, bombarded civilian areas of several cities, including the capital Tripoli, Muammar Gaddafi's hometown Sirte and the rebel stronghold of Benghazi.

9. It is NOT my boat.
It is the Libyan's boat. They wanted this. They begged for it. Day after day, there were tweets about it. They kept on asking "where is the international community?" I am sick and tired of false accusations.

16. 1 000 000 Iraqis killed
since 2003, because Bush believed that he has a "mission from God".
Do we really need more of this crap only with democratic president in the White House?

18. Difference.
This is not Bush.

The Libyans asked for the no-fly zone; the Iraqis did not.

The Libyans have said they will die for freedom. They do not want to die to remain under a dictator.

It is that simple.

19. This IS nation building, Bush or no...
and as such is subject to the same principles. I opposed it under Bush, and I oppose it under Obama. It has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with rescuing people from a tyrant, and everything to do with Libya's oil.

21. I believe it has NOTHING to do with oil.
It started with "showing no mercy".

Anyway, I am not going to comment on this subject again - because both sides believe what they will and no words said will change the other's opinion.

My hope is a free, democratic Libya, that I would love to visit if that happens - especially if they play music like this.

22. This is bullshit
Who said that? Do these "Lybians" even represent the public opinion? Are they really Lybians or just mercenaries for hire from neighboring Egypt?

IT IS NOT SIMPLE AND NEVER WAS when the military-industrial complex and big oil run the whole freaking show in US.

that Obama deserves that Nobel peace prize.
If he was a good man, he would return that honour back, but....

20. This action is legal and in accordance with international law.
It was authorized by the UNSC and as such it is not a war crime. Quite the contrary, this intervention is intended to stop war crimes committed by Gaddafi against his own people.

5. Reports are many of the SAM sites were moved into residential areas.
I only hope the collateral damage is low.

Probably lower than people intentionally targeting urban areas (Gaddafi bombed towns outright).
