Bahrain demolishes Pearl Roundabout statue

The Bahrain government has begun demolishing Pearl Roundabout, the heart of the capital and the rallying point for protesters in the tiny Gulf kingdom.

The entire area has been excavated and that the iconic central structure has been brought down, CNBC reported...

I think if anything this will make even more people angry. If there were mass demonstrations in the US and as a response the government blew up the Statue of Liberty I think it would just make things worse.

I had no idea what was there.

Obviously, the freedoms of 'speech, assembly and association' don't apply to Bahrain.

The masters of the physical cannot suppress the innate spiritual yearning of people, no matter how hard they try.

It's going to get worse before it gets better.
