COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio Governor John Kasich unveiled his long-awaited state budget proposal on Tuesday. It was a plan designed to close an $8 billion gap that was already generating reaction around the state.

"It's horrible," said Kelly Franklin. "I am hoping that I don't have to look for a job but I am going to start."

1. Sic 'im!
Man, there has got to be some slaps upside heads to get all this shit on pause. Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, holy shit.

Perhaps it's time for a certificate of mental health to be produced before being allowed to run for any office?

Edited on Tue Mar-15-11 08:52 PM by plumbob
is the same fucker I never voted for as yell leader at my beloved Texas A&M, either.

I'm kinda afraid to slap him upside the head, though:
1. The resulting vacuum implosion could suck the entire state inside his head
2. I don't want to touch whatever he puts on his hair, in case I need to take iodide tablets later or penicillin

First Aggie governor and doing his best to make sure there will never be another.
Doesn't qualify as an Aggie joke, though. Those make you laugh. He makes me cry. And gives me awful awful thoughts.

Shhhh...can't say more, don't wanna get tombstoned....

6. HUGH Protest
in Westerville (Kasich's hometown...suburb of Columbus). In fact we marched to his house....through his fancy McMansion neighborhood. We were many and we were LOUD.

I have never been more proud of my fellow Ohioans. It was well organized. Signs had been made for us. Chants were ready. Many good speakers. AND a professional DJ playing very cool Rock n' Roll music.

Now I know where King John Kasich lives....and when we reached his house, we yelled, "WE'LL BE BACK!!!"

It didn't rain until we were marching back from his house.

His neighbors are going to be very pissed that he decided NOT to live in the Governor's Mansion....he decided to stay home and the taxpayers pay for the $1.67 million security additions to his McMansion. The Police/Sheriffs blocked off the streets for us...they were too cool as well. No one in the neighborhood was going anywhere. There were a couple of residences that were assholes...my reply...."Oh Look, White Collar Felons set free."

May he slip in the bathtub.

He has a dog...I bet he kicks it.

8. WAY TO GO!!!!
You guys are the best!!!

Folks were rallying in the rain in Akron right by I-77. Sure wish Ohio had a recall because I think there is very serious buyers' remorse for all the whiny Dems who complained last fall, "What has Ted ever done for ME?"

Now they see what ol' Johnny is doing TO them.

9. Only 49.2 % of the
voters voted....pathetic. Now they wished they had voted. NE Ohio (Cleveland) really fucked up. Strickland is a man of integrity...I miss him so much.

Many Urban folks might have considered Ted as a 'rube,' but he has a heart of gold.....why Ohioans couldn't see that is beyond me.

May Kasich slip in the bathtub....hey, accidents happen all the time.
