Jordan King Orders Prices Down Amid Protests

The King of Jordan has ordered that prices should be forced down after rising popular discontent over the economy.

The Jordanian government has announced $230m worth of economic measures to push down prices and create jobs.

There have been protests and riots across the Arab world because of rising prices and popular resentment of corruption.

In Tunisia they led to the downfall of President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali.
