Murkowski passes Miller in vote count
Source: Anchorage Daily News

The Division of Elections has counted 1,000 more votes for Lisa Murkowski than Joe Miller, and the absentees Miller was banking on didn't go his way.

The current count stands at 92,164 votes for Murkowski and 90,448 for Miller. Murkowski's numbers will grow as the state reviews more write-ins.

The Division of Elections has at least another 10,000 write-in ballots to review, and the trend has been for the state to count more than 97 percent of them for Murkowski.

If that trend continues, Murkowski could win the race outright no matter what happens with Miller's lawsuit asking for misspelled ballots to be thrown out.

6. I'm not sure how I feel about this
Sure given the choice I would prefer to be government by Murkowski, but in the end they are so close, perhaps it would be better for us if the clown was elected, just to highlight to the voters how crazy a huge proportion of the GOP is.

14. Send in the clown!
If Murkowski goes down, that gives Begich seniority for Alaska. It also means the clown will get nothing done in DC.

I'm afraid that if she survives and consolidates her power, the Murkowski clan will never be this vulnerable again.

10. A Corportist Republican v. A Fascist Republican
What an absolutely waste of drivel.

Either way, they are both Republicans, though one is only a -7 while the other is a -10 on my +10/-10 Ideological spectrum, with +10 being anarchist and -10 being Facsist.
