Palin endorses Tancredo in Colo. gov race
Source: Washington Post

DENVER -- Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has offered a last-minute endorsement to former U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo in the Colorado governor's race.

Palin urged voters Monday to support Tancredo - who is running on the American Constitution Party ticket - saying he will fight for lower taxes and smaller government, and start growing the economy.

Colorado GOP gubernatorial candidate Dan Maes, a tea party favorite, says Palin is increasingly becoming part of the establishment. He says Palin waited until the day before the election to improve her odds of picking a winner.

1. Down goes Tancredo! Down goes Tancredo!
May Tancredo and Maes duke it out for second place.

2. sort of hoping Maes comes in below 10%
which would recast the Republican Party in Colorado as a minor party. Of course, I want Hickenlooper to win the race. And I already voted!

6. You're just looking forward to being able to say "Gov. Hickenlooper"
because it sounds so fun.

Wasn't that the name of the oompa-loompa's governor?

7. What a self-serving dork Palin is.
Palin's eleventh-hour endorsement of Tancredo comes too late to do him any good, and she surely knows that. No doubt it, and Jim DeMint's endorsement of Christine O'Donnell immediately before the Delaware Senate primary, are all about buttressing the Tea Party cred of the endorsers, rather than helping the endorsed.

8. IIRC Palin didn't endorse O'Donnell until a couple of days prior to the primary
I agree that this is all about trying to run up a W-L record that will benefit her role as a "king maker" than anything to do with those she's endorsing.
