Republican Senate nominee Joe Miller said this afternoon he will not be answering any more questions about his personal background for the remainder of the campaign.

Miller made the statement to reporters after today's debate before the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce at the Dena'ina Center.

He took no questions.

...................

The statement came as new questions were raised about Miller's time as an attorney for the Fairbanks North Star Borough. The Alaska Dispatch, quoting an anonymous source, reported Sunday night that Miller used borough equipment in the unsuccessful 2008 attempt to oust state Republican Party Chairman Randy Ruedrich.

1. So he says people have no right to see
what kind of person he is.

You should be able to do that when you apply for a job, I wonder if he would vote for that kind of bill??

3. Just one more practicioner of the Palin/Angle/Brewer playbook -
don't answer questions, don't talk to the press, and pay no price come election time. His asshole supporters don't care and that's all he's concerned about. The rest of the vote gets split between McAdams and Murkowski and, voila Senator Joe Miller (Asshole, Alaska).

5. This is the "secret" plan of the Republicans for American jobs.................
..............When you apply for a job just give them your name and SS number and when and if they hire you, then give them all the bad/good news about your employment/education history. Sounds like a plan to me.:sarcasm:

10. It's almost like the Right is picking the most corrupt....
and inept people they can find in an effort to destroy any reasonable standards for political candidates. And the consumers of the Right wing noise machine accept that this makes these candidates "like us".

Me, I don't want candidates "like" me. I want them to be a hell of a lot smarter and well-informed!

15. ha! That will be the day!
There is no way in hell this assclown is going to win! Hopefully Scott will pull this one out...tho I must say his campaign has been very low key (to put it mildly). The likely scenario is that Lisa M will win this. She has the support of the ARP and of most organized factions...

I hope Scott wins...I will vote for him, but lord...talk about mild mannered...

Go sit in your shack in the woods and hope the government doesn't notice you. That's what they do in Alaska, isn't it?
