3. Okay, wikipedia says these guys claimed the last bombings in Zahedan:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jundallah

Jundallah, or Jondollah (Arabic: جندالله literally meaning Soldiers of Allah‎), also known as People's Resistance Movement of Iran (PRMI) (not to be confused with People's Mujahedin of Iran), is a militant Islamist Sunni organization based in Balochistan that claims to be fighting for the rights of Sunni Muslims in Iran, and is responsible for numerous attacks in Iran, targeting both civilians and military personnel. It was founded by Abdolmalek Rigi who was captured and executed in Iran in 2010.<4> It is believed to have 1,000 fighters and claims to have killed 400 Iranian soldiers.<5> and many more civilians.<6><7> It is a part of the Baloch insurgency in Pakistan and in Iran's Sistan and Baluchistan Province. The group started under the name of Jundallah and later renamed itself as the People's Resistance Movement of Iran. The group has been designated a terrorist organization by Iran, and has been linked to and taken credit for, numerous acts of terror, kidnapping and smuggling narcotics.<2> Many observers believe the group is linked to al-Qaeda.<8><9><10> Iran has long alleged that the U.S. government is supporting Jundallah. Several other sources such the ABC News, Daily Telegraph, and the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh have also reported that Jundullah has received support from United States against the government of Iran,<11><12><13><14> however, the US denies any involvement.<11>

SO MUCH SMARTER, arming resistant Iranians instead of sending Israel in. Israel's involvement would be a gift to Ahmadinejad and I see no reason to give the jailer of a generation pretty presents.

11. Because it isn't possible for anyone with brown skin to do anything without a white skin's orders?
Here's a thought: the people in that area have known and hated and killed and whatevered each other for millenniums. They don't need anything from us to loathe the people next door. They have strong traditions already in place.

It is arrogant and unbelievably self-centered of Americans to believe it our hand directing any of this. But we would be idiots if we didn't fund the ones who give us the best strategic future. Not that I agree most of the time on the choices for that, but it is what governments do and what they SHOULD do.

14. Wow.
That's quite a long-winded response to a simple tin foil icon.

Nice diatribe, but maybe we don't need to "fund" any particular side at all, but keep the fuck out of their issues and off their land. Who is going to be "funded" is ineveitably who serves the corporate, er, sorry, I mean the "national" interest. The pretense for picking sides is just Neocon drivel.

8. It's only terrorism when brown people attack the US/Israel...
when it's brown on brown violence, posters like Aquart come out and say what a smart tactical move it is by the US to fund terrorism of brown vs brown.

10. Uh, because it is.
BTW, lotta brown in the US. Many of whom will die in American uniforms if we invade Iran. So I'd just rather not.

Here's something you may not know: lotta brown caucasians. Everyone in India and Pakistan? Caucasian. White race, so called. Arabs? Same deal. Kurds? You betcha.

Now I see that you see browns as lesser beings we must protect because they can't think anything out for themselves. Not a bit racist, that sentiment.

13. She's right though
You were cheering for terrorism, calling it smart, after reciting the Wiki entry, in which you learned all about Jundallah.

As for browns being "lesser beings," read Ysabella's post again and then read yours. You're the only one who mentioned "browns" and "lesser beings" in the same sentence.

9. 'Deaths in Iran mosque attack'
I smell the CIA....

http://english.aljazeera.net/news/middleeast/2010/07/201071518824599686.html

Two explosions at a mosque in southeastern Iran have killed a number of people in a suicide attack, Iranian officials say.

The blasts late on Thursday targeted Shia Muslim worshippers in the predominantly Sunni city of Zahedan, Sistan-Baluchistan province, the Fars news agency quoted Iran's deputy interior ministry as saying.

"Hours ago, a suicide operation was carried out in the Jamia mosque, which left several martyrs and several wounded," the agency quoted Ali Abdollahi as saying.

"We do not have the exact number of casualties from this suicide operation, but for sure several have been martyred and wounded."
