Ottawa CitizenA bomb targeting a bus loaded with military personnel in Istanbul killed at least five people and injured 11 others Tuesday, officials announced. It's the latest attack on Turkish security forces that have been battling Kurdish separatists in the south. The Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), which has fought a bloody, years-long war against the Ankara government, was blamed for the attack and a spate of others. A group called the Kurdistan Freedom Falcons claimed responsibility for Tuesday's bombing and many Turkish officials and analysts suspect that group is a front for the PKK.
