BALAD, Iraq -- Two American soldiers were injured Tuesday when an Iraqi rocket exploded on a sprawling U.S. military base here.

The rocket is believed to have hit near an open-air movie theater and a recreation facility at Camp Anaconda, where about 17,000 troops are housed. A second rocket was believed to have landed in the camp earlier Tuesday but had failed to explode.

The theater is a popular night spot for both troops and government contractors. Tuesday's featured flick was the Eddie Murphy movie Boomerang.

Army quick reaction forces evacuated the wounded soldiers after the attack. Their injuries were described as not life-threatening.

3. Anaconda has been under attack almost nightly.
I was in transportation in Iraq and every mission we ran to Anaconda
required us to spend the night sleeping next to our trucks. It seemed like every time we were up there we came under mortar attack during the night. They just can't secure the perimeter and that includes the roads leading in there. Their lined with IED's. Bad place to be, especially driving in and out of there.

5. What's an IED?
IED :: Innovative Electronic Designs
or
Istituto Europeo di Design

That's what google says.

Sorry, I've got my own tasks and I can't keep up on everything!
