RNC Spending Questions Go Beyond Recent Headlines
Source: Oregon Public Broadcasting

These might seem like garden-variety gotchas on the expense account — except for this: The RNC is spending more money than it's raising. Since January 2009, the RNC has raised $109 million, but spent $115 million.

"It's a risky proposition. If you spend a lot of money and your fundraising operation is not keeping pace, then when it's crunch time — and you're really making your final push — are you going to be able to do it in a major way?" Levinthal said. "That's a question for the RNC right now."

So deficit spending is acceptable. Unless it's by an individual or the Post Office.

Typical hypocrites.

1. And to put this in larger context, read elsewhere that most fundraising costs are ~ 40c on the $.
Especially among large donors.

9. That's exactly it. They WILL get a bail-out - from all the "personhood" corporations protecting

their turf. They will buy the election, courtesy of the Supreme Court. Or they will take out their own "independent" ads so that official GOP coffers don't matter. "Socialism must be stopped."

And of course there's the oil industry. They can CRUSH this election with their new judicially-mandated personhood and they will, given that Democrats are in favor of alternative energy. They will seek to rip the LUNGS out of the Democratic Party.

The same system the so-called 'conservative' republicons used to toss America's economy into the crapper for years to come...

8. If they really want to raise money they need to request smaller contributions.
Just like cutting taxes increases government revenue, cutting donations should increase their party's revenue.
