Source: DA to seek indictment of Jackson doctor
Source: Associated Press

The Associated Press has learned that prosecutors will seek an involuntary manslaughter indictment against Michael Jackson's doctor for the pop star's death.

A law enforcement source says Dr. Conrad Murray will be prosecuted on a theory of gross negligence. The source spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation remains open.

The district attorney's office is waiting for the Los Angeles police to turn over the case before presenting it to a grand jury. Jackson died at his Los Angeles home in June while under Murray's care as the singer prepared for an ambitious concert schedule.

A Murray spokesman did not immediately return a call seeking comment.

3. Conrad Murray has been out practicing medicine
and no charges have been filed against him. Charges should be involuntary manslaughter at the VERY least.

This really pisses me off to no end.

RIP MICHAEL! We'll get this bastard yet!

4. He is hardly the first doctor to have a person die
from the treatment they have/haven't provided to them. Malpractice doesn't generally generate criminal charges...not even manslaughter. :dilemma:

5. you are right sadly
I'm in a similar situation personally right now. I damn near died in November due to a botched up surgery I had several years ago. I cannot find an attorney to help me.

Regardless of my personal situation, I still believe that Murray belongs behind bars along with a few other "doctors" I can think of.
