Source: WaPo/reutersFormer Vice President Dick Cheney was undergoing surgery on Thursday to treat an often-debilitating back condition caused by pressure on the nerves in the lower spine, his office said. "Former Vice President Cheney went to The George Washington University Hospital this morning for elective surgery to deal with lumbar spinal stenosis," his office said in a statement. Lumbar spinal stenosis is caused by compression of nerves in the lower back, most often producing pain or numbness, tingling and weakness in the legs and buttocks. operation have opted out of Medicare, i.e., the cuts junior made in Medicare payments to surgeons for this procedure have forced many, maybe most out of the pool of surgeons available for Medicare patients unless able to personally foot the bill and we ain't seen nothing yet.

in his office fireplace and lugging boxes of documents into his new house he didn't want any movers to touch. His back hurt so much from all the evidence destroying he was in a wheelchair at the Inaugural - looking like old man Potter from Its A Wonderful Life. And yes, of course HE's got good health coverage. And Secrets Service protection. (But I wouldn't want to behind him in line as he tries to talk his way past Saint Peter...) Just bloodstained evil.
