Palin, Grizzly Companion Appear on Reality Show

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin recently hung out with one of the stars of the "American Chopper" reality TV series -- and their time together aired Thursday night on the popular Learning Channel staple.

Palin met with the show's star Paul Teutul Sr. in her Anchorage office on Wednesday while sitting on a sofa draped with a massive grizzly bear hide that her father killed.

The bike-building duo took a trip to Anchorage to research building a custom motorcycle to honor Alaska's 50th anniversary of statehood.

"You've got that patriotism in you that people just so respect. Thank you for that," Palin told the show's host.

That guy was a McCain supporter...so I'd already just about written it off anyway.

My TV cable is worth less and less all the time. Too many commercials and right wing assholes have me almost to my tipping point...the point where I call the cable company and tell them to come and unhook this POS. You watch a 90 minute movie and it takes 3 hours!

showed the part where she kept correcting the guy about "snow machine" vs. "snowmobile". At the end of the clip, they added an effect where the bear's head swings around and chomps her head off, lol. Your dream come true.

I did once paint a faux cheetah rug on canvass for a lady. The real one was motheaten & wormy. I stiched a red felt backing to it and it replaced the real macoy on her foyer floor.
Talk about a niche market! Wonder if I could market faux grizzlies in Anchorage?

I love that area of New York--ancestors wandered through there in the late 1700s, stopping off on their way West to fight the British in 1776. I've been there twice, and neither time did I stop to see the Chopper shop. Would you say that most folks around there think the Teutels are the idiots I think they are?
