2. Obama rules out US troop raids into Pakistan
Source: Washington Post

WASHINGTON (AP) — As he carries out a retooled strategy in Afghanistan, President Barack Obama says he will consult with Pakistan's leaders before pursuing terrorist hideouts in that country.
Obama said U.S. ally Pakistan needs to be more accountable, but ruled out deploying U.S. troops there. "Our plan does not change the recognition of Pakistan as a sovereign government," the president told CBS' "Face the Nation" in an interview broadcast Sunday.
The president also bemoaned the tenuous security situation in Afghanistan, saying, "Unless we get a handle on it now, we're gonna be in trouble." He made clear that his new strategy for the long war is "not going to be an open-ended commitment of infinite resources" from the United States.

sounds like the USA is just gonna maybe WARN them

I'm REALLY not impressed with the wars in the ME at the hands of the USA,

and it's encroachment into other countries just shows how arrogant the USA remains

USA does NOT belong in Afghanistan, Iraq, and another 100 countries.

USA belongs - - - ummmm

in the USA???

Oh right!!

The USA is running so swimmingly on the continent.

They have the time and money to do the globe-trotting domination thing . .

silly me

:silly:

4. Obama is speaking softly,
but he also carries a big stick, as TR recommended long ago.

The Pakistan govt. can save face, but they had better cooperate with us.
