RNC FBI Informant faces Criminal charges
Source: Minnesota Independent

Andrew Clark Darst was scheduled to appear before Hennepin County District Court Judge Daniel Mabley at 3 p.m. Monday afternoon. The 30-year-old Minnetrista resident faces five criminal charges that include burglary and assault.

According to the criminal complaint, Darst showed up at a Minnetrista housewarming party on Jan. 11 looking for his wife, with whom he’d quarreled earlier in the evening. Darst allegedly kicked in the door of the home and physically assaulted two individuals attending the party. “The defendant appeared to be full of rage and anger,” the complaint states.

The incident might be dismissed as a routine domestic dispute — except for Darst’s prior interactions with law enforcement. He previously served as an undercover informant for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, helping to build a case against the so-called RNC Eight (pictured). The group of activists are charged with criminally conspiring to disrupt the Republican National Convention held in St. Paul in September. But Darst’s own alleged criminal acts have raised questions about his credibility as an informant in the high-profile prosecutions.

The FBI Informant shows how violent he really is, so why are the still prosecuting 8 peaceful individuals with felony and conspiracy for riots and acts of terrorism ?

Hey kids, you know an easy way to join the FBI? Join a peace group, make up lies and tell the cops you have info for them and if they make you an agent you'll testify against the people in the peace group in court. Easy. the members are stopped from rabble rousing, and you get one more FBI guy on the team. Just have to put your soul at the door on the lives you have destroyed.

Tell Ramsey County Susan Gaertner to drop the felony charges and stop wasting tax payers money.

Call (651)266-3222 and e-mail [email protected] and demand ALL CHARGES DROPPED!

2. Join a solidarity day of support for the RNC 8 March 28th
Edited on Tue Mar-17-09 11:50 PM by annm4peace
The crime these young incredible people committed was organizing the logistics for the people coming to protest the Republican agenda. They organized places for people to stay, and had a safe place for people to stop and get food if needed, find out houses they could stay at, copy machines to make copies, where to hook up with friends.

What happens to them will set what happens to any of us who dare to speak out and dare to organize.
http://rnc8.org/

Help support the RNC 8 by joining in the day of solidarity.
Whether you download the video "Terrorising Dissent" and have people over for a house party.

or help raise money for the RNC 8 and the RNC 800 who also need support for their court dates.

Have a fundraiser at a bar and get some bands to donate their time.

Have speakers at a local church to talk about our 1st amendment rights.
Have a debate with opposing sides.. ARe the RNC 8 Terrorists ?

WE NEED YOU. The Progressive Community here in the twin cities is trying to attend the 100's of court hearings but they need the help of progressives across this nation. We are up against the Corporate influenced goverment and the FBI and local law enforcement. They do not want to lose and will do whatever they can to make sure these good people go to prison. So please spread the word.

4. This is nothing new
The FBI is well known for using unreliable an downright criminals as informants. It won't be the first time they lost a case this way. Their main purpose is to harass and financially break people they consider troublemakers.

Read Agents of Repression.

5. Actually Clark was never an FBI “Agent”, However
For agreeing to testify against these people in the peace group he attained the title of Snitch.
Other colorful titles that could be applied to Clark would be Betrayer, Stoolpigeon, Sneak, Canary, Fink, Rat Fink, Pilferer, Spy, Scab, Rat, or as he will be known after his conviction and sent to the BigHouse, They will affectionately call him "Meat" as in, Meat the new Punk:puke:

10. About 10% of the organizers turned out to be goddamned informants.
Three of the 33 organizers in St. Paul; 1 of 9 persons attending from Austin, Texas. One of these assholes tried to frame an acquaintance of mine as being the informant to get more damn information out of people. Then he finally was pinned into a corner and admitted who he was. He's fucking scum and it sickens me that he is allowed to walk among us with relative impunity. Lowest form of life on earth.

13. "routine domestic dispute"
Why is this reported as "routine"?

We never have to read about other hate crimes as being a "routine" crime against gays or minorities. Stick a marriage in there, though, and all related rage is just considered normal.

So what is Obama and the Democratic Congress going to do to end this fascist madness?
