Bill Clinton Made Millions From Foreign Sources
Source: The NY Times

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Former President Bill Clinton earned nearly $6 million in speaking fees last year, almost all of it from foreign companies, according to financial documents filed by his wife, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.

The documents obtained Tuesday by The Associated Press show that $4.6 million of the former president's reported $5.7 million in 2008 honoraria came from foreign sources, including Kuwait's national bank, other firms and groups in Canada, Germany, India, Malaysia, Mexico and Portugal and a Hong Kong-based company that spent $100,000 on federal lobbying last year.

Executives at many of the firms that paid honoraria to Bill Clinton have also donated large amounts of money to the Clinton Foundation, according to documents it released last year as part of an agreement with Congress on Hillary Clinton's nomination as secretary of state.

All senior officials in the Obama administration are required to complete a detailed disclosure of their personal finances, including spouse and children, which is updated yearly.

and Saudi royals whose causes he has been advocating, like Dubai Ports Deal and other pet projects that benfit BushInc and his cronies while undermining US citizens and OUR rights.

Media won't discuss THOSE dollars - because those dollars are the same as GHWBush's payolas. Deep-sixing BCCI matters has been profitable for a certain class of citizen, eh?

13. She travelled the US and the World on other folks' diimes.
Hell, if she missed a connection for a flight, she'd call up C.R. Smith - head of American Airlines - and he'd have another plane land to pick her up or have a freight flight go get her.

She attended fund raisers for things all the time. Took pay for speeches for money to give to charities.

7. No problem with me.
As long as we can expect full disclosure from all Executive Branch personnel (senior staff) on how they derive their income, I'm not opposed to a popular President making money on speeches. Even unpopular ones. And they aren't 'consulting' or deriving income from belated quid pro quos to foreign countries or corporations.

They are both "transparent" in their dealings. Which is why we can see right through both of them and see how corrupt both of them are.

Bubba of Arabia and his "cash cow" camel. Imagine the money rolling in once he puts the "Twofer Sale" on the side of the camel.

But everyone loves them so. Including the Bushes.

People like to listen to Clinton. He's a good speaker and in demand. That's what he does to earn it, he speaks.

His earnings for last year were more from foreign sources because it was a election year and he gave speeches for Democrats for free, I know, I heard him.

The only place you make money is from foreign sources. They might as well write a story about every single company in the US that has Dubai, China, India or Saudi Arabia as a client...

Disney, Halliburton, GM, and every other all American company.

All that for just speaking. I'd say this is a win for all Americans. Whether those who paid so much to listen to him really get that value out of it may be open to question.
