Hillary wouldn't vote -- so that's one down
MN only has one senator now -- so that's two down.
Ted K is sick -- that's three down
Where was Byrd. I know he was under the weather yesterday.

After all that, well, what a "moran." Maybe he didn't want to look bad? Or maybe some of his donors called and informed him they were her donors as well. It's Washington. Same old, same old.

Part of the deal for Hillary taking the job was a measure of autonomy. I don't think she'd cotton too well to being bossed around by anyone. She will play a major role in setting the policy.
And if our President is smart, he'll respect her intelligence and skills. I don't think that Mr. Obama wants Hillary to put a "Colin Powell" on him and leave.
