WSJ, Dow Jones CEOs Get White Powder Mail

The Wall Street Journal reported on its Web site Wednesday that it had received about a dozen envelopes containing a suspicious white powder.

The mail was addressed to several New York-based executives at the newspaper published by News Corp.'s Dow Jones & Co., according to the report. At least 10 of the envelopes were being held in the company's mail room, while about 3 others were distributed around the building, the WSJ reports.

New York City police officers and hazmat teams were reportedly on the scene.

The New York offices of The Wall Street Journal received a number of envelopes that contained an unidentified white powder Wednesday, the newspaper reported.
