President Bush Determines Deal With UAE Would Promote National Security
Source: RTT News

Bush released a statement Friday in which he determined the deal with the United Arab Emirates would promote national security.

The deal, a cooperation agreement between the US and the UAE, would have the UAE develop peaceful nuclear energy. The UAE also said it would import fuel for any nuclear reactor it builds and would not enrich uranium within the country itself.

"I have determined that the performance of the Agreement will promote, and will not constitute an unreasonable risk to, the common defense and security," Bush said of the agreement.

With Bush's approval, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice can now arrange for the agreement's execution.

8. promote the security of what? Bush's investments?
the wealth of his Arab friends?

The continued strangelhold of wealthy semi-feudal kingdoms over western nations?

This certainly has nothing to do with the security of average Americans
