It doesn't look like Franken is picking up enough votes. He got a bunch in a Democratic area but he's not picking up much overall.

Plus the GOP is challenging every vote they can. They're playing "chad city." "I don't like this vote! I don't like that vote!" They're basically trying to rig the recount and send Franken votes to Never Never Land.

3. So if Franken actually ends up winning this...
then all we need is Georgia for 60 seats... right? what's going on with that state? Haven't seen much posted about it.

Every time a repuke loses to us it's damned awesome and important. Plus Al Franken is way fucking cool and very liberal.

7. not good
but not hopeless.

We Georgians have to get out there and vote to support common sense, reason, our new President, and simple decency. If we do that, Saxby Dumbass is going down.

8. Chambliss will be picking up the votes of the Libertarian who won't be in the runoff.
That gives him an edge. Plus it doesn't look like President-elect Obama will be campaigning in Georgia and I've read that that's the only way the Dem turnout could be boosted enough to give Chambliss a run for it. Not looking good.

10. The AFL/CIO is pumping a lot of money and workers into Ga to unseat
Chambliss. You know every Dem will be getting fliers and phone calls. Turnout is key.

11. I had thought I heard the opposite on Morning Edition today
That Coleman had gained more, but fivethirtyeight and what I can figure form the MN SoS site seems to indicate that what you state is true.

Gooood news after getting depressed after what I thought I heard this morning!
