Alan Keyes sues to obtain Obama citizenship proof
Source: Canada Free Press

Presidential candidate Alan Keyes, vice-presidential candidate Wiley S. Drake, and the Chairman of the American Independent Party, Markham Robinson, have filed suit in California Superior Court in Sacramento seeking to bar Secretary of State Debra Bowen from certifying to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger the names of Electors, and from transmitting to each presidential Elector a Certificate of Election, until documentary proof is produced and verified showing that Senator Obama is a “natural born” citizen of the United States, and does not hold citizenship of Indonesia, Kenya or Great Britain.

In addition, they have asked that the court issue a peremptory writ barring Senator Obama’s California Electors from signing the Certificate of Vote until such documentary proof is produced and verified.

Probably pained him to say "gay" instead of "homosexual" for once. :P

4. Do these guys simply have more money than brains?
I don't know if any of them are lawyers and maybe filed this suit without charge, but geesh. Hasn't this pothole been dug up and filled to everyone's satisfaction already?

I guess it's the only way they can keep their names in the news anymore.

5. Amazing how stupid some people are...
Hawaii has stated on several occasions that the BC is true, yet some idiots refuse to accept the fact that Obama is indeed a US citizen.

Some people have no shame, much less an IQ that is barely into the double digits.

7. What do you know? I'm suspicious of Alan Keyes too.
For some reason, call it a crazy hunch, but I have often wondered if he just might not be a U.S. citizen either. I think he owes me a peek at his birth certificate to put my curiosity to rest.

10. Obama doesn't have to prove he's a citizen. Keyes has to prove he is not.
I'm just applying the Republican standard to that argument. Remember "We don't have to prove Saddam has nu-cu-lar weapons; he has to prove he doesn't"?

'Course, they hate it when you use their own twisted logic against them...

13. Unfortunately, someone is disrupting our FRiends discussion of this issue with logic and reason...
Why would President Bush, who has access to the best intelligence resources on the planet, collude with a candidate from the opposition party on the transfer of presidential power? Why wouldn't just one republican from the VP, House, Senate, or even Governors raise this an issue? What's stopping McCain or Palin from coming forward? You have to either believe this suit has no merit or believe the entire republican party, including the president is in on it. Just doesn't pass the moonbat test.
