Clinton Raising Money For Franken
Source: CBS

Hillary Clinton has sent a fundraising email out through her political action committee on behalf of Minnesota Senate candidate Al Franken, whose electoral battle against rival Norm Coleman is headed for a recount.

"Just 206 votes," the email opens. "That's the difference separating Al Franken and Norm Coleman in the Minnesota Senate race -- 206 votes out of about 3 million cast."

"In the coming days, Minnesota officials will carefully count every vote to make sure they get the most accurate count possible," the email continues. "But once again, Republicans want to interfere any way they can with the vote-counting. They're setting up legal challenges and questioning the voting officials' integrity."

The email goes on to request donations to Franken's campaign to "make sure every vote is counted."

And they had a good relationship before the primaries.

As that gets behind us, I see no reason that relationship won't manifest itself again.

7. Time heals a lot of wounds
My take is we'd be losing a strong Senate voice, a potential Majority Leader. Richardson or Clark make more sense.

The real problem is that there is now a permanent subculture of Clinton haters. They will also certainly become Obama haters -- it's anyone who achieves a position of power.

I don't think that Clinton is all that critical in the Senate. The more visibility (and power) she has, the better it is for us. Since she is the symbol of all that the Right hates, her visibility will have a magical effect on the Right -- kind of like a political bug light. They'll rush to attack her and end up getting zapped by their own stupidity.

However, the decision hasn't been made yet. I suspect, whatever the outcome will be, that Hillary is taking her own sweet time, and every commentator will have something to say about it. Therefore it will keep Lady Palin out of the coveted "pundint" news cycle this weekend, which she (Caribou Barbie) hoped to "pwn".

Barack and Hillary are pretty clever, aren't they?

11. I agree on that one.
Hillary would be a great leader in the Senate.
Which need to "crack balls". The Republicans are going to everything they
can to obstruct and destroy Obama.

some of his more strident and mean-spirited supposed supporters (equivelent to PUMA types, but for BHO) were the one fostering that kind of feeling.
