AIG bailout is "one-off event," says head of U.S. rescue fund
Source: Janet Whitman/ Financial Post

New York: The U.S. government's use of bank bailout money to fund a $150-billion rescue of global insurance giant American International Group doesn't mark a shift in strategy, the head of the bailout fund said Monday.

Maybe they meant to say one-of event?

7. ...But....150 Billion may not be enough......
Quote from Reuters article...

<<He (CEO Liddy) acknowledged the possibility, though, that even $150 billion might not be enough. "There is more breathing room, but the answer is, 'What do you think is going to happen to capital markets?'" he said. "Under any normal scenario, I think we are in pretty good shape. But you can never say never>>
