I don't actually give a rat's ass...but I got an email from a friend who is a real right winger, and it was some slam on Barack NOT releasing his medical records, school records, IL Senate records, etc.

Like I said...I could care less, but just curious if he did release his records also? Does anyone know FOR A FACT if so?

Remember almost two weeks ago when Sarah Palin said she would release her medical records?

It still hasn't happened.

Early last week, a spokeswoman for the McCain campaign, Tracey Schmitt, said the campaign was working on it and it would be done "sooner rather than later." But since then, nothing.

Palin remains the only candidate on either the Democratic or Republican ticket who has released no personal health information, although critics have maintained that none of the four candidates have provided enough detail ...

When it comes to the release of her medical records, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is starting to remind me of that great 1993 New Yorker cartoon in which a man in an office talks to someone on the phone, looking at his date book, saying, "No, Thursday's out. How about never -- is never good for you?"

It was on October 22 when Palin told NBC, “My life has been an open book. And my life is an open book today, and Americans deserve to know the background, the associations, the affiliations of a vice presidential candidate. I’m willing to continue to be an open book.”

Brian Williams asked if she would release her medical records.

Said Palin: “The medical records — so be it. If that will allow some curiosity seekers, perhaps, to have, oh one more thing that they can either check the box off that they can find something to criticize, perhaps, or find something to rest them assured over, fine. I’m healthy, I’m happy, I’ve had five kids — that’s going to be in the medical records. Never been seriously ill or hurt — you’ll see that in the medical records if they’re released” ...

Palin's doctor says she is in 'excellent health'

WASHINGTON (AP) - Sarah Palin's doctor in Alaska says she's in excellent health with no known health issues that would interfere with her ability to function as vice president if she and Republican John McCain are elected Tuesday.

McCain's campaign released a summary of Palin's medical history Monday night.

Palin's personal family physician, Dr. Cathy Baldwin-Johnson, says Palin has only been hospitalized for childbirth. Palin is 44 and has five children. She gave birth to her fifth child, son Trig, earlier this year.

Palin had a breast biopsy in 1992 for what turned out to be a benign lesion. Her vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse, have been normal.

The doctor also said Palin takes no routine prescription medications and exercises regularly.

(CNN) — Just hours before Election Day, the McCain campaign released a summary of Gov. Sarah Palin’s health — a physician’s letter saying the vice presidential candidate is in “excellent health.”

Palin was the last contender on the presidential tickets to release her medical history in some form.

The November 3 letter from her physician, Dr. Cathy Baldwin-Johnson, says, “Governor Palin is in excellent health and has no known health problems that would interfere with her ability to carry out the duties and obligation of Vice President of the United States of America.”

deal is. I guess since she said she was releasing them and there's the big hoopla over her baby and whether he is really her daughter's. But honestly, do we really need to see everything in someone's medical records. Even presidential candidates ( and v.p. candidates) deserve some privacy.
