Dalai Lama leaves Indian hospital

The Dalai Lama has left hospital in the Indian capital, Delhi, nearly a week after undergoing surgery to remove gallstones.

A spokesman for the Tibetan spiritual leader said he was now fully recovered.

The 73-year-old Nobel peace laureate has been advised by doctors to cut down on foreign travel and to rest more. He complained of stomach pains in August.

and I will be seeing him speak for the first time. I hope he is healthy enough to keep the date!

3. You should like that. He has a great sense of humor and is a wonderful speaker.
I had the opportunity to see him in Houston at Rice University way back in the early 1990s (or maybe it was '89, not sure now.) I can't say I remember a whole lot of it now, only that I thoroughly enjoyed seeing him and the experience of it :)

5. Swift and gentle healing, your holiness. The beings on this planet need you for as long as possible.
Namaste.

Hekate
