Paris Hilton's mom takes offense at McCain's humor
Source: Associated Press

McCain, the Republican presidential candidate, said last week that his campaign ad mocking Democrat Barack Obama with images of Hilton and singer Britney Spears was part of an attempt to inject humor into the presidential race.

On Sunday, Hilton's mother, Kathy Hilton, a McCain donor, registered her disapproval.

"It is a complete waste of the country's time and attention at the very moment when millions of people are losing their homes and their jobs," Kathy Hilton said in a short article posted on the liberal Huffington Post Web site. "And it is a completely frivolous way to choose the next president of the United States."

Kathy Hilton and her husband donated a total of $4,600 to McCain's campaign earlier this year.

ROTFLMAO!

Well, if it was humor he was going for, it really worked out then.

2. Paris's mother's words should be our mantra
"It is a complete waste of the country's time and attention at the very moment when millions of people are losing their homes and their jobs," Kathy Hilton said in a short article posted on the liberal Huffington Post Web site. "And it is a completely frivolous way to choose the next president of the United States."

McCain may think record unemployment and record foreclosures and record deficits are funny, but most Americans don't agree. McCain's economics adviser may think our concern is just whining, but Obama doesn't. Obama offers serious solutions; McCain offers frivolous ads.

18. I would like to see Obama incorporat Paris and her mother into his campaign
I just can't figure out how he should do it. They certainly do attract a crowd. Paris is extremely popular with the young MTV generation 2.0.

7. As if Paris is role model...
She can be offended all she wants but reality is Kathy Hilton is the role model for her daughter and her daughter is a role model for the new generation of Republicans who think, as do their parents, that laws apply to others. Not to them.

It's amazing how Republicans never seem to see themselves in the mirror even when they hold up to their face instead of someone else's.

15. Well, whatever it takes to get people to wake up to the idiocy they're trying to elect.
I didn't click on the link... Did anyone ask Kathy Hilton about paying train loads of money to try
to get rid of the "Death Tax"? (Their term, they bought it. I call it an Estate Tax.)

No?

NEXT!
