Japanese top official maintains Iraq has WMD
A top Japanese government official said Thursday Iraq has weapons of mass destruction (WMD), a claim challenging what a former US top weapons inspector said a day before.

There is no evidence to show the weapons of mass destruction donot exist, "on the contrary, it's very likely they are there," said Chief Cabinet Secretary Yasuo Fukuda at a press conference.

He's been spreading that old thing like a bad venereal disease during his recent travels. What's up?

Well, he's got me there.

There is also no evidence to show that Tinky Winky is heterosexual or that Ronald Reagan was not replaced by a Disney robot in 1984.

5. ahh, who knows. rove probably has a plan to use this whole controversy
to bush's advantage by planting weapons during the period when the weapons inspectors are in a lull and then "discovering' them just in time for the election.

interstingly enough, a lot of polls say merikuns don't really care about the WMDs in Iraq anymore. i wonder if this rovian ploy will work at all.

6. The guy is trying to save face for his PM
Before the war, Koizumi was ranting on in Parliament about all the WMDs in Iraq, and now lots of Japanese are starting to asking probing questions about that "mighty arsenal" that just sort of disappeared without a trace.
