Sweden adopts law allowing official eavesdropping

STOCKHOLM, Sweden - Sweden's Parliament narrowly approved a law Wednesday that gives authorities sweeping powers to eavesdrop on all e-mail and telephone traffic that crosses the Nordic nation's borders.

Critics have slammed the law as an invasion of privacy and an infringement on civil liberties. Hundreds of protesters gathered outside Parliament Wednesday, some handing out copies of George Orwell's novel "1984," about a fictional futuristic police state.

The right-leaning government's slim majority helped secure 143-138 approval, despite strong opposition from left-leaning parties led by Social Democrats.

Supporters argued the law — which takes effect in January — will help prevent terrorist attacks. It gives Swedish defense officials the right to scan international phone calls, e-mails and faxes for sensitive keywords without a court order.

Swedes are not stupid. They almost went completely socialist in the '70s. Not only aren't they stupid, but once they finally get angry about something they tend to be very direct in their response. So I wonder how long it will take them to figure out that the rw is not good for children and other living things.

Italy is going fascist, and to anyone who defies the Imperial Amerikan State-Controlled Media Blackout knows this is not hyperbole in the least. Italy's Bushies are now "coming out of the closet" as the Bushies they are. Italy has had one gypsy camp burned to the ground and one-mini Kristallnacht resulting in beatings and at least one murder.

There may be more, as a subjecty of Imperial Amerika, we are denied information about most foreign lands, especially where the actions of THEIR Bushies cast a bad light on Amerika's Bushie/Corporate Masters.

Russia is following in Bushie footsteps, dismantling any semblence of democracy and replacing it with the Inverted Totalitarianism pioneered by the Bushies.

China is also following in Bushie footsteps, gradually dialling down the oppression of their Classical Totalitarian nation so that it resembles Bushie Inverted Totalitarianism more every day.

Our own Bushies, of course, are taking notes from our sister nations China and Russia, applying them to their own Imperial Subjects (that's us) with the unique Bushie brand of Plausible Deniability to keep the sheep calm during the transition, when we might be able to do something about it.

Now Sweden is latest to follow Imperial Amerika down this path of Inverted Totalitarianism. The Swedes have a long way to go before being reduced to powerless subjects like Amerians, but this is a symptom that they are following.

Sigh. The Free World is what gives many of us trapped behind the Televised Curtain of Lies that IS modern Imperial Amerika, hope. It is nice to know that there are still some free nations out there.

Could Hitler's Ghost and the Bushies WIN this time? The issue is far from decided, and humanity may LOSE to Hitler-Bush this time.
