US President George W Bush has begun a two-day visit to the UK that is expected to be his final European tour before he leaves office.

Arriving at Heathrow, Mr Bush then flew by helicopter to Windsor Castle for a brief meeting with the Queen.

He and his wife, Laura, are due to have an informal dinner with Prime Minister Gordon Brown and his wife, Sarah, at Downing Street.

The two men are set to discuss the allied strategy in Iraq.

Dumbed-down visit with no Nazi inbreeds from the House of Windsor waiting at Heathrow to wipe his ass on the tarmac like last time....

SOMEONE's maybe hurting about the price of crude, the pathetic dollar, getting saddled with all those US subprime debts crippling the UK banking system etc...

1. Bush contemplates writing his memoir
GOP fiction factory in overdrive....

LONDON (Reuters) - U.S. President George W. Bush, scrutinised in books by former colleagues including a blistering critique by his ex-spokesman, is considering writing a memoir of his own.

Bush has been silent on former spokesman Scott McClellan's book, which said the White House shaded the truth and conducted a propaganda campaign to make its case to invade Iraq and topple Saddam Hussein in 2003.

Asked if he planned to pen his own book after leaving office in January, Bush said it was a possibility.

"I'm going to think about that, yes -- writing a book," Bush said in an interview with Britain's Observer newspaper published on Sunday.

6. Good thing he was able to "fly by helicopter" to Windsor....
They would have pelted him and his lovely wet rag wife with tomatoes had they gone on the streets of London.

Pathetic, shameless dumb ass.

13. You may not know the area
Would be a piece of cake to jam the roads between Heathrow and Windsor . Wouldn't surprise me if they've sectioned Windsor too as what looks likely in central London according to babylonsister's post : http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x3457071

resurgence of the plague. He ought to go to his pig farm and sit there until January. Just stay out of everybody's way.

9. Fly over Iowa
Perhaps on his way back he and Karl Rove can choreograph a flyover of Cedar Rapids Iowa to survey the thousands of sandbags that Barrack Obama and his supporters put into place near the levees--while he (Georgie) was meeting with an apolitical titular head. People drowned, while Bush clowned.
