John McCain won this big red state today by a big margin.

Already the presumptive Republican nominee for president, McCain captured 90 percent of the early vote in the Nebraska presidential primary.

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton were locked in a tight battle for bragging rights in the Democratic presidential primary.

In Nebraska's U.S. Senate primary, Scott Kleeb led fellow Democrat Tony Raimondo in early returns.

U.S. Senate candidate Mike Johanns, the former Nebraska governor and U.S. agriculture secretary, was easily beating Pat Flynn, a financial adviser from Schuyler, on the Republican side.

Allowing municipalities to buy stock didn't strike me as a good idea. I'm sure I'm in the minority.
