Hinchey pushes legislation to lower gas prices, urges passage of energy bills
Source: Mid Hudson News

“This issue is important right at the moment and it really needs to be addressed and a veto threat should not impinge upon the ability of the Senate to pass this bill,” he said. “And the right-wingers in the Senate should not be allowed to press their opposition to these bills in ways stipulating that they are going to demand 60 votes rather than just 51 votes in order to get this passed in the Senate.”

Even great progressive Democrats are off base. Here Hinchey wags his finger at the GOP Senate for blocking legislation by requiring a 60 vote cloture motion. THATS HOW THE FUCKING LOYAL OPPOSISTION FIGHTS FOR THE MINORITY! Getting rid of the gas tax is also short sighted pandering.

2. I didn't like his war funding or support of Hillary Clinton
But I think Good Ol MO might feel the same way as me about both these issues.

As far as criticizing the GOP for requiring a 60 vote majority - I think that is good politics, imho. The dems should learn a thing or two.
