Dean calls for further limits on campaign contributions
Excerpt from full article:

Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean said Wednesday he wants to put further limits on campaign contributions and increase taxpayers' share of paying for presidential campaigns.

Dean, who opted out of the public financing system for the race, said special interests have bought both parties and that Washington lawmakers look after big donors instead of ordinary people. The average donation to Dean's campaign is less than $100.

The proposal comes as Dean looks to get a leg up in the New Hampshire primary Tuesday by painting his rivals as beholden to special interests. He is trying to recoup his loss in Iowa with a win in New Hampshire, although polls show he's losing ground to other candidates.

1. Sure like Bush isn't going to spend the $170 million he's raised
It's just sickening how much money these bastards are raising.

3. With Kerry accepting $100k donations from...
...the likes of AOL/Time Warner, Dean has a point when he says both parties have been bought.

One goal of the establishment effort to destroy Dean is to preserve the width and depth of the corporate trough.
