Woman From Miami's Body Is Pulled From Wreckage; Discovery Of Final Victim Concludes Search

The last of seven bodies has been pulled from the rubble at the site of a crane collapse in Manhattan.

Six construction workers and a Miami woman in town for St. Patrick's Day were killed Saturday when the crane broke away from an apartment tower under construction and toppled like a tree onto buildings as far as a block away. The last three bodies were found Monday.

The Miami woman was in a friend's apartment in the townhouse during the collapse.

Two dozen people also were injured in the accident.

But I have to add: who writes these godawful headlines?? Do they teach people nothing in journalism classes these days? Do they even take journalism classes anymore?

3. Story about blame buried by the lying MSM!

Contractor warned city about crane but was blown off:
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/2008/03/16/2008-03-16_contractor_warned_city_about_crane_but_w.html

"A retired contractor warned the city 12 days ago the doomed crane on E. 51st St. wasn't properly braced, but the Buildings Department blew him off after making a cursory check."

The MSM loves tragedies but doesn't want to correct or even implicate their partners in crime by assigning proper blame because then they won't have as many of these tragedies to help their "bottom" line and distraction of the Merican sheeple.

And after all the MSM are "bottom feeders".

I saw this story earlier today but had to search Google news to find it again...

4. Supposedly the crane was inspected following the complaint, but
the person whose name is on the sheet said he didn't inspect the crane or sign the sheet. I don't think we'll be hearing more from Mayor Bloomberg this election season, I suspect he's going to be tied up for a while. I expect to see a Law and Order episode based on this next season!
