A new poll by the Reno Gazette-Journal shows a neck-and-neck three-way race among Democrats for Saturday's caucus.

A look at the top line results:

Barack Obama: 32 percent
Hillary Clinton: 30 percent
John Edwards: 27 percent

Come on, Nevada. Prove the MAIN STREAM MEDIA wrong, again! Show those arrogant talking heads that this is NOT a 2-way race, and that we are NOT going to let them choose our candidates for us!

The MAIN STREAM MEDIA - and the rest of Corporate America - FEARS JOHN EDWARDS! That should tell you something!!!!

7. At least he's still in the polls.
Imagine how bad he'd have done in the polls if he wasn't included in the polls.

6. Best interests of the party
and I don't like the media dictating who is still in the running. To me this is a three way race --and that should be reflected.

Plus, I'd like as much of Edwards' platform to be be incorporated no matter who becomes our nominee.

13. Thanks for that
I agree. The whole media thing is just beyond the pale this year.

Thanks for the words of support. :hi:

19. I totally agree. But why are they only trying to narrow the Dem race?

25. Don't know
Truthfully, I've not spent much time on the Republican race.

My suspicion is that the media hasn't either.

20. You're welcome.
I want a race. I want John in this too.

I also want the fighting to stop. We need to unite.

There are people that will take their marbles and run if their candidate doesn't get the nomination.

Not me! I'm a DEMOCRAT! I love our field of candidates and want to WIN in November.

Be it, Hillary, Edwards, Obama or Dennis. This is OUR year. And the petty shit needs to stop. I'll lay that at the feet of my candidate and Obama for this last shitty weekend of petty crap.

I think that this can help Edwards in NV.

21. Yanno, losing NV for both of them may completely change the tone
on how the rest of the primary season is carried out. It would certainly be a wake up call to the effects of negative campaigning within the party.

9. And left almost half the candidates out.
I thought it was still a 5 way race, funny I missed the news of Kucinich and Gravel dropping out. Why are people ok with this? I find this "I've got mine" attitude disturbing and undemocratic.

12. "we are NOT going to let them choose our candidates for us!" - give me a break!
Edwards was one of the media's chosen 3. If they want 2, they have two, if they'd wanted 4, they would have (in cooperation with pollsters) chosen 4. If you think one of these top 3 really is the best, that's great, but they're polling the highest because they're the most famous, and that fame doesn't come from legions of Americans pouring over their senate voting records, it comes from the media making them famous.

17. They've been cherry picking the line up from day 1.
As a Kucinich supporter it's hard to take this "Edwards blackout" seriously.
I still run into alot of people who've never heard of Dennis, never Edwards though.
I predict soon it'll be "Obama who".

27. It's going to surprise and enrage the MSM
if Edwards wins this. Better yet, it'll give the US Chamber of Commerce piles!

Go John!!!

And, thanks to the Clinton supporters who said this is a good thing. :toast:

28. If Edwards wins Nevada
then I'll change my mind and vote for him in NJ on Feb. 5th.

If he doesn't win Nevada or South Carolina, there's no way he can get the nomination, and we need to stop Hillary.
