Officer Suspended In Connection With Fires At Capitol

WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) -- There have been seven fires set inside the Dirksen and Hart Senate Office buildings since the last week of September.

Six of the fires were set in trash receptacles in the stalls of women's bathrooms.

The arsons started in the end of September when two fires were reported in two of the women's restrooms in the Hart building.

Sources say the U.S. Attorney's office is looking at the evidence to determine whether charges will be filed.

4. Why is it paranoia? Congress is in session. This could be an attempt to

threaten or intimidate Congress. Recall that the administration made Terra threats against Congress to get them to pass a temporary extension of the Constitution busting unPatriotic Act before they went on break this summer. Right wingers who drink the Kool Aid know that they are supposed to hassle Congress. Even if it is a lone arsonist, that does not mean that it is not politically motivated, like the 2001 anthrax mailings.
