WASHINGTON — New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson raised about $5.2 million for his Democratic presidential bid in the past three months, bringing his total fundraising for the year to more than $18 million, his campaign said Sunday.

The numbers could solidify Richardson's position behind the three top-polling and top fundraising Democrats — Sens. Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton and former Sen. John Edwards.

The third-quarter fundraising period ended Sunday. All candidates must file detailed financial reports by Oct. 15.

This is the first quarter I've gotten a fundraising call from the Richardson people, even though I've been on their contributor's list since February. At this point howver, my wife and I have decided to go with Hillary. I had hopes for the Richardson campaign, but it never seemed to come together organizationally.

2. I'm still there, but only just
I still believe his policies are the most sensible, and most likely to win the GE. I still think he is the candidate with the most relevant and widespread experience but damn he is turning out to be a pretty horseshit campaigner. Hopefully he can use some of this money to get some direction and momentum going and get his head in the game, because if not I'm considering jumping over to the Edwards camp.

most widespread experience at the federal level, and as an administrator.

I'm still comfortable supporting his candidacy in the primary race. I have no problem with that at all.

We've a great slate up for the presidential election process. I think it is ours, as Democrats, to define and to win.
