7. No Loans = No Money
My area has been dying a slow death do to slumped home sales, which means no money is moving, and any number of companies will die out without the money they usually get from the realtors.

9. Have to have jobs to get loans. All the jobs are overseas or
across the border. And now the truckers are screwed. I mean, who would have thought that a trucker's job could be outsourced. But the sneaky bastards did it.

10. anything can be outsourced
or you can send out to mexico for people to do the jobs "americans won't do" for $4-$5 per hour.

Since you might be interested, watch "money as debt" on Google. The loans aren't being made on purpose- it would cost them nothing to do so.

8. My only satisfaction
is that this will happen on Bush's watch. It will become very clear to everyone just WHO was running the show while our economy cratered.

13. behind growth of most of the world...
So where does that put us rank-wise? teetering on 2nd world nation status or somewhere between 2nd and 3rd world status?

got to love the repubes, they really know how to fuck up things in the most efficient way.

Couple this with peak oil, the pile of shit in iraq and our fiat dollar and things start to look down right totally fucked.

You think china is going to dump our t-bonds? naaaa, they don't need to do that to fuck us, they just have to stop buying them. Once that happens, swing the door wide open to the sacking of washington.

the repubes did one thing correctly, they have totally fucked themselves for any future elections for the foreseeable future.

17. Is it just me or are prices on everything higher?
Man, everything in the grocery store is up. Everything in Lowes is up. Something has to give. I only buy what is absolutely necessary, hoping that things get better. I guess I'll be waiting quite awhile.

18. Just be grateful you can keep up
for now at least. I'm taking care of someone, and my meager income is keeping us skin of teeth away from disaster every paycheck.

I'm not idiot enough to think anyone in Washington cares. They're doing "Just fine, thanks!"
