Iraqi MIlitary Forces Say They Had Warrant to Arrest All Guards At GM's Iraq HQ

Baghdad (VOI) – Iraqi forces surrounded a headquarter for the General Motors Corporation in southeastern Baghdad's Oqba Ibn Nafi square and arrested all its security guards, a source from the corporation said on Sunday.

"A large military force accompanied by Hummer military vehicles surrounded the building at 10:00 am this morning, while the traffic police blocked all roads leading to it, causing panic among the corporation's employees," the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told the independent news agency Voices of Iraq (VOI).
