U.S. military toll for May tops 100
Total reaches 101 with eight more deaths. British call in airstrikes in Basra after militiamen attack bases in port city.
By Ned Parker, Times Staff Writer

The U.S. military on Saturday reported the deaths of eight more troops in Iraq, and fighters believed to be with Shiite cleric Muqtada Sadr's Al Mahdi militia pounded British bases in the southern port city of Basra.

Included in the latest U.S. military deaths were three soldiers killed Saturday in a car bomb attack in Salahuddin province in the north; one killed south of Baghdad; one soldier who died in an ambush Friday in Taji, north of Baghdad and two more who were killed Wednesday in bombing east of Baghdad. A Marine was killed Saturday in Al Anbar province. The deaths raised US military fatalities to 3,452 since the start of the war in 2003, according to the website icasualties.org, which tracks military casualties.

The deaths raised the number of U.S. fatalities to 101 this month, making it the seventh time the death toll has surpassed 100 since the U.S.-led invasion in March 2003.

7. I said someplace else that I think were at 451 since January 2007
If the current rate of monthly deaths continues we'll almost have almost this amount in just the next three months.

2. Ludice? Or Fallujah
Other than extermination, will Amerikans come clean as to what they want from the world or Iraq...do you want oil?

So there is a point to a degenerated empire (or humanity) other than 17.5 million dollar house and the thug life?

I sure hope that American culture has more to go for it than a remote control given to idiots that much rather kill/herd/bind Americans.

Why not stop the killing of innocent people?
