PM: Bin Laden not hiding in Pakistan

DAVOS, Switzerland (Reuters) -- Osama bin Laden is not in Pakistan, as far as the government is aware, and if anyone has intelligence to the contrary, they should share it, Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz said on Thursday.

U.S. intelligence chief John Negroponte, in testimony to a Senate committee earlier this month, wrote that al Qaeda leaders were holed up in a secure hide-out in Pakistan, without naming bin Laden or his deputy Ayman al-Zawahri.

"The government of Pakistan cannot respond and act on general statements, (without) tangible evidence. Our position is that none of these people are in Pakistan, Mullah Omar and bin Laden etc.," Aziz said at the World Economic Forum meeting, referring to the Taliban and al Qaeda leaders.

Aziz said Taliban members were avoiding crossing the 2,730-kilometer (1,700-mile) border between Afghanistan and Pakistan because they were increasingly being caught.

5. Bull Shit
The Pakistani dictatorship lies like the * admin.: every time they speak.

It is likely the ISI could arrest OBL & Zawahiri & Mullah Omar within an hour of deciding to do so.

Waziristan my ass.

I remember what a tragic joke it was to have the Pakistanis "guard the border" for us during the Tora Bora operation. That should demonstrate to everybody that Bush was never serious about catching Bin Laden.
