Edited on Sun Dec-14-03 12:09 PM by bluestateguy
He is such a terrible speaker. Mix that with his Frat Boy cockiness, and I'll pass. At least Reagan was a good speaker.

7. secret police gone?
What in the hell does he mean that the secret police are no more? Excuse me, but as "60 Minutes" pointed out last week, our military kicked out the police force the Iraqi people themselves were putting in place, and REPLACED them with a Saddam-trained baathist police force. The secret police LIVES ... courtesy of us over there, courtesy of Asscroft over here.

Chimp.

"The state of fear, secret police and oppression has gone forever," said a jubilant Pachachi, a former foreign minister before Saddam came to power.

"I call on the Governing Council to declare this a national holiday," he added.

bush pretty much just said the same thing.

Saddam's Mukhabarat is largely held responsible for the disappearance and execution of about 780,000 Iraqis.
