2. a family loses their child and as far as I can see there have been
no Iraqis involved in the airplane terror case. Nor where there any Iraqis attacking the world trade center. But does America understand.

5. He was doing what he believed was his duty
"I wish more would die so America would wake up."

That is one of the most despicable comments I've ever read here on DU, and I've read some doozies.

Are you sure you're on the right/correct website?

10. OK, I DARE you to support your logic.
I MUST be a Lieberman supporter because I think it was despicable for you to wish for the deaths of more American soldiers?? If you really had a clue, you would have a clue.

These soldiers didnt choose this war, they chose to do what they believed was their duty to their country; to wear the uniform and go where they're sent, at the behest of their so called superiors, who are supposed to be making rational, informed decisions.

I would venture to guess that this BOY of 18 was simply trying to be a good boy, and do what he thought was his duty....to protect YOU.

I'm sorry, but your initial reply was a pitifully lame attempt to get someone here to bite, and agree with your thinly veiled duplicity. I normally don't even bother with the most obvious among us, but to wish for the deaths of more Americans is a statement worthy only of ------------.com. (and I KNOW you know whereof I speak)

These young men and women, who are dying every day in Iraq, deserve nothing less than our full support and respect.

Try selling your spew somewhere else.

6. Too many. too many.
As bad as it is for this country, please let's not forget that by direct violence alone, Iraq is losing 10-20 times what we've lost.

11. My name is Jeremy too...
I turned 40 this year and have 3 kids and a great life.

Too bad this Jeremy had to die for a lie or for lack of money.

Someone should swing for this.

14. Two of my four grandchildren
are older than him, and I still consider them children. He was too young to give his life for a cause based on lies and greed. I hope that his soul is at peace now, and that the ones who loved him will find a measure of peace, also. I will forever hate the ones who sent him, and so many others, to their deaths and to horrible injuries. Eternity is not enough time for the corrupt bunch who pushed for this war to endure punishment.

15. Pile the bodies high!

Grass Bush

Pile the bodies high in Austerlitz and Waterloo Iraq
Shovel them under and let me work--
I am the grass; bush; I cover all.

And pile them high in Gettyburg Baghdad
And pile them high in Ypres and Vedum Mossoul and Al Fallaujah

Two years, ten years, and passengers ask the conductor:
What place is this?

I am the grass bush.
Let me work.
