Antiabortion Group Got Hoax Letter
PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 22 -- A self-described antiabortion "terrorist" accused of sending hundreds of anthrax hoax letters to women's clinics discovered during his trial that one of the letters went to a group that counsels women against abortion.

Clayton Lee Waagner, who is acting as his own attorney, learned Friday that the Pregnancy Resource Clinic of North Penn does not provide abortions.
...
Other witnesses testified that an ophthalmologist and a psychologist also received the bogus threat letters, apparently because their names were mistakenly listed in the Yellow Pages under "abortion providers."

Waagner, 47, previously had claimed responsibility for the letters, but also suggested it was possible he lied about his involvement to take the pressure off other antiabortion activists.

2. Of course not.
The Patriot Act only applies to those people who do bad things in opposition to Bush's "policies."

Right-wing extremists get a free pass, as long as they say 12 "Hail Bushes" and genuflect toward the Potomac.

3. what about the armed robbery on the casino in Tunica?
If the feds are not willing to give this guy a stiff sentence, then why wouldn't the Tunica casino he robbed be willing to see him prosecuted in Mississippi? Casinos are not generally understanding about people who burst in with guns and make off with the cash, and Mississippi is pretty tough on armed robbery.

If they let this guy skate...has to be a pay-off somewhere. I'm just saying.

5. the memo stated clearly
that all rightwing fanatics are only to have committed "hoaxes" or "pranks"

those are the acts of children - and they cannot be held responsible for their deeds

6. they should as his actions were to mimic the anthrax...
terror attacks.

first he just sent white powder. but then if found that a certain fertiliser, in a quick lab test, would show a positive for anthrax and then started adding that to the white powder.

whether or not he was sending anthrax, his actions were meant to create the "terror" of an anthrax attack.

regardless of what happens to him, karma is going to get him good.
