Members of National Association of Broadcast Employees and Technicians-CWA voted overwhelmingly for the move if a fair contract cannot be reached, the union said Monday in a statement.

The union has been negotiating with NBC Universal for a new contract for about 2,500 employees since last November; the current contract expired March 31.

I work for NBC/Uni - I'm union, but in a different guild. I haven't heard about this yet - I wonder if they will ask us to strike as well. I bet they'll resolve it, though. Universal has been really good with the unions, and are generally excellent to employees, at least out here.
