WASHINGTON, May 26 (Xinhua) -- U.S police reopened the Rayburn House Office Building Friday afternoon, after calling off searches of the building for any possible suspect responsible for the reported gunfire at its garage in the morning.
Capitol Police said the search of the office building had concluded, and it was reopened for routine business.
No evidence had been found to prove the reported gun shots.
No arrests were made during the massive search of the Rayburn building, the largest of the three House office buildings, located on the south of the Capitol.
Police sealed off the Capitol and the Rayburn office building after receiving a call that said there was gunfire at the garage of House office building. The Capitol was reopened for official business earlier. Enditem
