Baghdad: Six men slain execution-style found
By ASSOCIATED PRESS
BAGHDAD, Iraq

The bodies of six men, slain by bullets to the head, were found in two east Baghdad suburbs Friday, police said.

The bodies were blindfolded and handcuffed, said police Capt. Maher Hammad Mousa. Four, men between the ages of 30 and 35, were found on the street in the Fudhailiya suburb shortly after dawn, Mousa said.

The other two corpses, men between the ages of 40 and 45, were discovered in the Kamaliya region shortly afterward, Mousa said. None of the bodies bore identification.

2. Soon there will be no more Iraqis
at this rate! Between those we kill and them killing each other, well, just how many people are there in Iraq??? I think the only way the killing is going to stop is when there is no one left to kill.

3. I think "those we kill"..
comprise the greater number. As soon as the convicted criminal Negroponte appeared on the scene, it was a done deal.

At some level, of course, we're responsible for just about everybody being killed. Invading a country that didn't attack us so we could steal their resources. Feh!!

4. Rumsfeld says there is no civil war in Iraq
The MSM uses words such as "sectarian violence" rather than the more accurate "civil war" so as not to frighten the sheep or cause them to call for a troop withdrawal.

5. Many Shiite "soldiers"
have been openly saying payback would include a lot of this. It apparently is happening but don't expect any simple remark or investigation of this by American media outlets.

Those remarks were made incidentally by members of the supposedly sole ready Iraqi battalion which by now is really nothing more than a Shia militia competing with the Sunni insurgents. Exact retribution would call for a lot of civilian Sunni deaths, women and children included.

Maybe all these anonymous bodies, their very existence suppressed by the Shia government, ARE unidentifiable, but the powers that be don't want anyone to see the situation clearly. Better chaos than a scorecard civil war. The barest bit of deniability remains so the civil strife can be spun into a nebulous "disorder" more nebulously reported, where the actual violence far exceeds the numbers and the potential violence is still a ticking time bomb, undefused.
